Boy Scout Pack 369 Committee Meeting

I. Call To Order

Bob Faiola called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2007, in meeting room at GI Joe’s. A quorum was present.

II. Items discussed and resolutions

· Rick advised the committee that the Pack 369’s web site will expire March 14, 2007 if not renewed. Cost of renewal is around $39 a year and provides a valuable information source for pack members.

Action: Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the renewal of the web site for another year

• Rick announced 2 tiger cubs are going to join our pack from the Lakeland Pack 366 along with their leader, Laura. As those cubs join our pack in the middle of the year, fees will be prorated at $15 per cub to cover for awards and expenses.

• Blue and Gold Aloha Luau pack meeting is moved to March 6^th as school is having a concert on February 27^th. All den leaders will need to notify their members. New meeting days will be posted on Pack 369 web site.

• New recruiting ideas were discussed which included:

• Posting notice about the Tuesday weekly meeting on the PTA Reader Board. Tyler will ask PTA and Rainier View Elementary for permission

• Committee will plan a kindergarten recruitment geared toward Cub Scouts Summer camp

• Committee will work with GI Joe to explore fund raising opportunities such as setting up dunk tank at GI Joe’s summer tent sales

Meeting adjourned at 8:20 pm.
